As a percussionist, composer, and improviser, Jonathan Barahal Taylor treasures the liminal feeling that intersects deafening silence and unrelenting noise.   Born in Australia, Niharika Senapati is currently based in Melbourne (AUS). She has been studying Countertechnique intensively since 2012, whilst working as a dancer for Anouk van Dijk in dance company Chunky Move. She has contributed to the 2017 and 2018 One Body, One Career Intensive as a faculty member, teaching Chunky Move repertoire. Niharika attended the Countertechnique Teacher Training program in 2014 and in 2018, and is a Senior Teacher Countertechnique.

  Niharika studied contemporary dance at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) in Perth, Australia. Since graduating, as well as Chunky Move, Niharika has been working with many choreographers around Australia, such as Rachel Arianne Ogle, Carl Sciberras and Leisel Zink.
