Israel hosts UAE Foreign Minister
Abu Dhabi’s top diplomat visited the Jewish State on the second anniversary of the Abraham Accord that normalized bilateral relations.

Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid greeted United Arab Emirates (UAE) Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan at the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) in Jerusalem. After first holding private talks, the two leaders then expanded the meeting to include their respective teams.
The two commended one another on the second anniversary of the Abraham Accords peace pact between their nations.
Israel signed peace treaties with Egypt and Jordan in 1979 and 1994, respectively; and the Abraham Accords to normalize relations with the UAE and Bahrain in 2020.
Senior Israelis who attended include Energy Minister Karine Elharrar, National Security Advisor Dr. Eyal Hulata, PMO Director General Na’ama Schultz, Ministry of Foreign Affairs Director General Alon Ushpiz, Prime Minister Lapid’s Military Secretary Maj.-Gen.
