Robert “Bob” Moore
Robert Lee “Bob”, 72, of Waco, formerly of Elkhart IN, passed away Saturday, October 14, 2017 in his home. To honor his wishes, a private memorial will be held at a later date.
Bob was born on August 5, 1945 in Kokomo, IN to Robert Leroy and Betty (Knight) Moore. He was educated in Elkhart Public Schools. He moved to Texas in 1973 where he worked and raised his family. Bob was an entrepreneur, who founded several businesses including Duster Campers and Moore Manufacturing/Moore Custom Cabinets. He was a skilled craftsman who worked for many years as a trim carpenter. In 1995, Bob married Nancy Boomershine Frederick in Waco.
Bob was a talented and creative man with an extraordinary work ethic. He lovingly taught his children his trades and showed them by example the value of integrity and hard work. Bob enjoyed visiting with his family and children, tinkering in his shop, and playing golf with his dear friend Ronald Redmond. He was an avid sports fan, who enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys and Baylor Bears. His constant companion was his precious dog Boomer.
Bob is preceded in death by his loving wife, Nancy Moore and parents, Robert and Betty.

Multiple guest artists visit Concord each year presenting exhibitions, lectures, and technique demonstrations. Concord’s visiting artist tradition allows students and community members to interact with highly successful artists and craftspeople. This exhibition features a selection of eleven previous visiting artists who have impacted the thinking of Concord’s students, faculty, and community. The exhibition includes works of sculpture, ceramics, and painting.
Best of the Guests will be on display in the Arthur Butcher Art Gallery in the Alexander Fine Arts Center March 13 – April 7, 2023.
