Sirish Bharadwaj, the former son-in-law of renowned actor Chiranjeevi, passed away on Wednesday due to an illness. According to media reports, Sirish died due to health complications related to lung damage. Zee Telugu report stated that Sirish had been unwell for some time and succumbed while receiving medical treatment in a private hospital in Gachibowli, Hyderabad. As of now, the hospital and his family have not released an official statement regarding his death.

HC rejects bail plea of Sirish

HYDERABAD: Justice B Seshasayana Reddy of the A P High Court on Wednesday rejected the anticipatory bail plea of Sirish Bharadwaj, son-in-law of PRP president K Chiranjeevi, who has been on the run since his wife Srijaslapped a dowry harassment case against him a few weeks ago.
Citing hostility of his inlaws towards him, Sirish sought bail urging the court to look at the sequence of events. In the first place, they did not approve of our marriage and later they started attempts to separate us, Sirish said adding that the case filed by his wife Srija was the culmination of the ‘conspiracy’.
However, public prosecutor Vinod Kumar Deshpande told the court that the real trouble started when Sirish came to know that Srija had transferred her properties worth Rs 70 lakh in the name of some of her relatives. Stating that there was ample proof of harassment of Srija by Sirish, the public prosecutor placed before the court certain copies of email messages sent by Srija to her mother wherein she mentioned about the demand for dowry.
Noting that this is not a fit case for anticipatory bail, the judge rejected the plea of Sirish.
